It all began at the age of seventeen when I was a youngster and I came to realize how great tea actually was. I would have cabinet after cabinet full of tea, which I’m sure you do as well! Every time my mother would go to the store I would ask her to pick up a new tea to try, that’s how my tea collection got to be so huge! As I grew older, I was able to travel more and get out into the city where more tea was to be found! No matter how many coffee shops or tea shops I visited I could never get the amazing tea taste that I was looking for.

Until one day at the age of twenty, I was talking with some friends at my college who were from India. We started talking about the classic Chai mix and how they would go through as many as twelve steps to make their Chai. I was very intrigued by the process and wanted to know more. They told me about a farmer who grew crop and sold some of it to people in the U.S. I had to try it, and so I called the gentlemen up and asked if I could purchase some of his tea. He was very happy to help and gave great advice on steeping the tea and so fourth. Once the tea arrived, I had found what I was looking for! Because it was so fresh and crisp I couldn't believe what I had found, everyone had to try this! Many, if not all of my friends loved the taste and wanted to know how they could get some. I started making orders for them as well as myself and from there the business began.
